GLYNDEBOURNE OPERA HOUSE

Yesterday, students from across the school, had a fantastic trip to Glyndebourne Opera House to see A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance and represented the school brilliantly.
A huge thank you to Ardingly College for generously providing buses and drivers after the loss of our own over the summer, your support helped make this trip possible!

YEAR 10 BOYS FOOTBALL

Two very late goals saw our Year10 boys football team lose a game against Bohunt on Monday that had been under control for large portions of the match. It was an excellent game to watch, and both teams played some great football. Captain, Dexter Clarke, gave us the lead mid-way through the second half as he finished off a flowing move from the left wing.

We deserved more but were undone with the last kick of the game.

YEAR 8 BOYS FOOTBALL

A short trip across the town for the ‘El Classico’ saw our Year 8 boys take on Sackville, A fast start was required and the boys didn’t disappoint 2 goals up within the first 8 minutes through Heavens and Jago Hough. 2 became 3 quickly through a wonderful freekick. 3 then became 4 with a lovely team goal finished off by Duvall. Some sloppy defending lead to Sackville claiming a goal back just before half time. After lots of changes at half time with the game done Imber pressed on looking for more goals.

HerMove Mayor’s U15 Girls Cup

HerMove Mayor’s U15 Girls Cup and Adam Dabell Memorial

Kudos to both our Under-15 girls and Sixth Form boys teams for the brilliant way in which they represented the school at the HerMove Mayor’s Cup and Adam Dabell Memorial matches at East Grinstead FC on Thursday night.

Both teams were highly competitive, working extremely hard in every area of the pitch, with the most sporting behaviour on display. In spite of the results not quite going our way, we were all extremely proud of them.

ADAM DABELL CUP

For the 21st time Imbehorne and Sackville competed for the Adam Dabell Cup and on a perfect night for football and following the wonderful girls match the boys took the field and didn’t disappoint. In an even first half were both sides should have scored it stayed 0-0 at half time.
